Documentary  »  MuzuZangabo  »  synopsis

This documentary is about the energy, activism and force which lead Carlos Cordero, the main character, to Africa to share his own experience together with those people that have just started a treatment to fight AIDS.

Carlos, HIV-positive for over ten years, takes us closer to the complex world or AIDS from the point of view of hope.
His communication ability, his charisma and especially his conviction make his message spread over all the places he passes by.
A positive message within the darkness hidden in Africa and AIDS.
The documentary goes through the beginning of activism in Bukavu, a town in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Carlos walks its streets and meets the local activists that now take over the fight against AIDS.
They must now educate their society to guarantee their communities will continue to exist.

As he says, ''the responsibility for the fight against AIDS starts in oneself. Both in Africa and in our own homes''.
