The documentary, filmed in 2003 and 2006 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, follows Carlos in his attempt to raise awareness within the local community and to take control of the struggle against Aids.

Carlos has been HIV positive for more than 10 years. The infection with the virus became his strength, his weapon to educate. 

When the drugs started to reach Africa, he decided to go there to share all he knew as a patient.
